On 11 January 2023, H.E Sonexay VANNAXAY, Ambassador of the Lao People Democratic Republic to the Republic of the Philippines paid a courtesy call on H.E Enrique A. Manalo, Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

During the call, Ambassador Sonexay VANNAXAY and Secretary Manalo highlighted the good relation of the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic tie and discussed about the expanding bilateral ties and area for further cooperation.
